Other Jackson County funding cannot be used to match funds for COMBAT Grant Match.

Programs must be evidence-based or researched based, and targeted populations must be clearly described and justified as appropriate for this funding application. Partnerships are encouraged that take advantage of existing resources, expertise and experience in working with the selected target population.

COMBAT will be allocating resources for programs in “Hotspots” that have been identified through inputting crime report data to generate Areas of Interest (AOI) smart maps outlining those neighborhoods where anti-violence services are most needed.
