- Project REBUILD empowers young people and adults in Stark County through education, workforce training, leadership development, and supportive services. Our flagship program, YouthBuild Greater Stark County, serves opportunity youth ages 16–24 who face barriers to education and employment. Using the proven YouthBuild model, participants earn their high school diploma or equivalent, gain hands-on vocational training in construction and customer service, earn industry-recognized credentials, and develop leadership and life skills.
In addition to YouthBuild, Project REBUILD offers mentoring, career readiness training, work-based learning opportunities, community service projects, and specialized workforce development initiatives that help participants build confidence, achieve self-sufficiency, and strengthen their communities. Through individualized support, trauma-informed practices, and strong community partnerships, we help people rebuild their lives while creating brighter futures for themselves and Stark County. - Target Audience
- Project REBUILD primarily serves young people ages 16–24 in Stark County who face barriers to education and employment, including poverty, unstable housing, justice system involvement, trauma, lack of work experience, and other challenges that impact long-term success. Many participants come from underserved communities and are seeking opportunities to complete their education, gain job skills, secure employment, and build a stable future. We also provide services and training opportunities for adults and community members through workforce development, mentoring, leadership development, and practical skills training programs.
