REDUCING NEIGHBORHOOD TENSIONS BY COMBATING COMMUNITY DETERIORATION, REDUCING PREJUDICE AND DISCRIMINATION, AND LESSENING THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT BY UNDERTAKING AND SUPPORTING CHARITABLE REDEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA AND REGION. THE CORPORATION WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH THE CITY OF NORMANDY, MISSOURI, ST. LOUIS COUNTY AND THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI - ST. LOUIS, THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER ENTITIES TO CONDUCT CHARITABLE ECONOMIC REDEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES ALONG THE NATURAL BRIDGE ROAD CORRIDOR AND THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSITY SQUARE AREA (SPECIFICALLY EAST FROM I-170 AND SOUTH OF I-70 EAST TO LUCAS AND HUNT ROAD AND NORTH OF ST. CHARLES ROCK ROAD) AND THE REGION. FURTHER, THE CORPORATION WILL CONDUCT OTHER CHARITABLE COMMUNITY PROGRAMS TO HELP ACCOMPLISH ITS PURPOSES.
