Grants of up to $2,500 to Missouri nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for programs and projects that will improve the quality of life of local residents. Eligible organizations are those that address the areas of family food and nutrition; arts, culture, history and community beautification; education and youth services; and health and human services. Activities must benefit residents of Carthage.

  • CCF has an interest in supporting organizations and projects which enhance the lives of Carthage residents and provide innovative solutions for existing and emerging community needs.
  • Grant requests for general operating expenses will be considered if needed due to COVID-19 impact.
  • CCF prefers to fund special projects of a nonrecurring nature.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Total amount one applicant can request is $2,500.00

Term of Contract:

Grants received must be spent within one year of receipt.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Area 501(c)3 organizations or other IRS approved entities serving the Carthage area, may make application to Carthage Community Foundation for its Fall 2020 Community Grant Round.

Applications are due 11:59 p.m. on September 17, 2020.

With the distancing recommendations, closings & uncertainty right now, fundraising events & regular giving for nonprofits are being impacted. Our CCF Fall Grantmaking Round is set to begin August 28 & we are going to change our parameters a bit to allow nonprofits to request operating funding if needed. Some nonprofits still may have/request special project funding, but others may need to request dollars to meet critical short-term needs of their service community/staffing/operations.
