Eligible organizations serve the communities of Eastern Jackson County, suburban Jackson County, and Cass County, with the exception of Wildlife Conservation requests, which will be accepted from across the State.

THCF is committed to supporting the nonprofit community, and it recognizes the financial and operational strain that the COVID-19 pandemic has placed on nonprofits. Therefore, the Foundation will continue to accept applications for general operating support through the competitive grantmaking programs.

Funding for community betterment activities includes, but is not limited to improving neighborhoods, youth development and leadership, programs for seniors, transportation, violence prevention, racial equity, and more.

Eligible funding requests include:

  • Equipment (i.e. computer hardware)
  • General Operating Support (i.e. salaries and consulting fees)
