Brad Cohen Tourette Foundation (BCTF)
Grants to USA nonprofit organizations working to meet the needs of children who have been diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. The award process incorporates significant flexibility in order to consider a broad range of programs. Please note that all requests must be consistent with the mission of the Foundation:
“To help children who have Tourette Syndrome learn how to exist in the real world with others who don’t understand. The Foundation supports the socialization, achievement and education of children with Tourette Syndrome via non-profit/tax-exempt organizations that focus on the needs of children with Tourette Syndrome.”
Socialization means supporting or sponsoring events and activities at the local level to encourage the socialization of children with Tourette Syndrome. Achievement means providing the resources to enable achievement by children with Tourette Syndrome, including, but not limited to scholarships, training and recognition. Education means providing information and resources to inform children and young people with Tourette Syndrome and those who want to learn more about Tourette Syndrome. Education should be focused on socialization and achievement, not diagnosis, medical research, medication or therapy.
