Grants of up to $4,000 to Missouri nonprofit organizations to support music programming in eligible locations. Funding may be requested to support piano performance and education, performing arts facing Coronavirus (COVID-19)-related challenges, and scholarship assistance for piano students. Applicants must serve the Carthage area. Preference will be given to organizations that present piano performance and education in Jasper and Newton counties.

The suggested range for grant proposals is $1,000 - $4,000.

Term of Contract:

Grants received must be spent within one year of receipt.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Area 501(c)3 organizations or other IRS approved entities serving the Carthage area, may make application to Carthage Community Foundation.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are due on April 16, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

Applications will notified in mid-May of grant decisions.
